Pakistan: More than 2500 lives have gone in the attacks so far


Yesterday's suicide bombing in Lahore, Pakistan, killed more than 70 people. Pakistan has a long history of such attacks during the last ten years in such large terrorist attacks that killed nearly 2,500 people. Most of these attacks were suicide attacks.

In 2007, after eight years of former Pakistan prime minister Benazir Bhutto returned home October 18, 2007 139 people were killed in a suicide attack in Karachi. Benazir Bhutto had survived the attack, but in the same year in December Ravlbpdi were killed in the suicide attack at the LiaquatBagh.

Shiite Muslims were targeted by terrorists in Pakistan in 2015, those were the four major attacks, including an attack on a Shiite mosque. About 150 people were killed in four attacks. The same year the Air Force camp was attacked by militants in Peshawar in which 29 people died. And majority of those killed were military.

In January 2016, the militants continued to attack in CharsadaBasha Khan University was attacked and killed 21 people. Polio Centre in Quetta attacked by terrorists targeting in which 13 people were killed. Christians in Pakistan have been targeted at the nearly 70 people were killed in suicide attacks.
