All candidates pushing forth their name for the US election primaries are claiming that they are the best ones in the region. This kind of claim is doing the rounds more and more as the June 28 primaries inch closer. Some of these candidates are heavyweights in the political scenario of Harlem, Washington Heights and Bronx, known to be the 13th Congressional district. Lots of candidates are having assembly seats from the New York Seat in the state, while Mike Gallagher is the one candidate, who is not having lots of political contacts and mileage, although endorsements are gradually pouring in from unexpected quarters.
Different democrat aspirants starting to collect and gather endorsements
For becoming the successful Washington Heights congressman, Robert Rodriguez,Clyde Williams Congressman and Keith Wright have all started endorsing their support from different bodies. Even Adriano Espaillat from the Democrat Party has got some degree of endorsement from Hillary Clinton, who is in the presidential run. Clyde Williams Congressman is having a strong support from the Obama stable because of his links with the office of the President and from the White House. Clyde is one of the strong contenders because of his business consultant role in both Clinton and Obama administration and his role in the Democrat Alliance Party, which has been able to break ice with lots of groups. Even his black ethnic background has won him lots of supporters from parties, which are not interested for the Rangel backed Keith Wright. Rather, Robert Rodriguez Charles Rangel race seems to be talking point about the present primaries to be held in June.
Robert Rodriguez from the Harlem constituency to help in the democrat elections
From the East Harlem constituency, Robert Rodriguez has been the assemblyman, but the democrat seat for the Congress seems to be a tough call. Robert Rodriguez Charles Rangel team up hasn't been successful because of the backing of Keith Wright by Rangel, while Rodriguez himself was supporting Espaillat in the 2014 primaries. Hence, his vote cauldron mostly belongs to Dominican background. Rodriguez is active in the 2016 elections more than he was in the previous elections, but could not create major flutter about his name for the primaries. In the present scenario, Clyde Williams Congressman seems to be the better bet for many people because he is seen to be quite a dramatic player in the political area. Having served under political heavyweights in the past, Clyde's endorsements are coming in from the top ranked politicians and from the local community members, as they assume that the winning of Clyde will help them in good results.
Rangel moving out makes the competition open
Due to the declaration by Charles Rangel to move out from the primaries in 2016 has intensified the race, as many new candidates are willing to try their hand at the Congress ticket through Democrat State Party. So, if the candidates want to win the Washington Heights Congressman seat, they will have to convince the voters about their work that would be done by the leaders after winning and bring about some change after earning the primaries.

First, why was Article 370 inserted in the Constitution? Or as the great poet and thinker, Maulana Hasrat Mohini, asked in the Constituent Assembly on October 17, 1949: "Why this discrimination please?" The answer was given by Nehru's confidant, the wise but misunderstood Thanjavur Brahmin, Gopalaswami Ayyangar (Minister without portfolio in the first Union Cabinet, a former Diwan to Maharajah Hari Singh of Jammu and Kashmir, and the principal drafter of Article 370). Ayyangar argued that for a variety of reasons Kashmir, unlike other princely states, was not yet ripe for integration. India had been at war with Pakistan over Jammu and Kashmir and while there was a ceasefire, the conditions were still "unusual and abnormal." Part of the State's territory was in the hands of "rebels and enemies."
The involvement of the United Nations brought an international dimension to this conflict, an "entanglement" which would end only when the "Kashmir problem is satisfactorily resolved." Finally, Ayyangar argued that the "will of the people through the instrument of the [J&K] Constituent Assembly will determine the constitution of the State as well as the sphere of Union jurisdiction over the State." In sum, there was hope that J&K would one day integrate like other States of the Union (hence the use of the term "temporary provisions" in the title of the Article), but this could happen only when there was real peace and only when the people of the State acquiesced to such an arrangement.
Second, did Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel oppose Article 370? To reduce the Nehru-Patel relationship to Manichean terms is to caricature history, and this is equally true of their attitude towards Jammu and Kashmir. Nehru was undoubtedly idealistic and romantic about Kashmir. He wrote: "Like some supremely beautiful woman, whose beauty is almost impersonal and above human desire, such was Kashmir in all its feminine beauty of river and valley..." Patel had a much more earthy and pragmatic view and — as his masterly integration of princely states demonstrated — little time for capricious state leaders or their separatist tendencies.
But while Ayyangar negotiated — with Nehru's backing — the substance and scope of Article 370 with Sheikh Abdullah and other members from J&K in the Constituent Assembly (including Mirza Afzal Beg and Maulana Masoodi), Patel was very much in the loop. And while Patel was deeply sceptical of a "state becoming part of India" and not "recognising ... [India's] fundamental rights and directive principles of State policy," he was aware of, and a party to, the final outcome on Article 370.
Negotiations
Indeed, the synergy that Patel and Nehru brought to governing India is evident in the negotiations over Article 370. Consider this. In October 1949, there was a tense standoff between Sheikh Abdullah and Ayyangar over parts of Article 370 (or Article 306A as it was known during the drafting stage). Nehru was in the United States, where — addressing members of the U.S. Congress — he said: "Where freedom is menaced or justice threatened or where aggression takes place, we cannot be and shall not be neutral." Meanwhile, Ayyangar was struggling with the Sheikh, and later even threatened to resign from the Constituent Assembly. "You have left me even more distressed than I have been since I received your last letter … I feel weighted with the responsibility of finding a solution for the difficulties that, after Panditji left for America ... have been created … without adequate excuse," he wrote to the Sheikh on October 15. And who did Ayyangar turn to, in this crisis with the Sheikh, while Nehru was abroad? None other than the Sardar himself. Patel, of course, was not enamoured by the Sheikh, who he thought kept changing course. He wrote to Ayyangar: "Whenever Sheikh Sahib wishes to back out, he always confronts us with his duty to the people." But it was Patel finally who managed the crisis and navigated most of the amendments sought of the Sheikh through the Congress party and the Constituent Assembly to ensure that Article 370 became part of the Indian Constitution.
Third, is Article 370 still intact in its original form? One of the biggest myths is the belief that the "autonomy" as envisaged in the Constituent Assembly is intact. A series of Presidential Orders has eroded Article 370 substantially. While the 1950 Presidential Order and the Delhi Agreement of 1952 defined the scope and substance of the relationship between the Centre and the State with the support of the Sheikh, the subsequent series of Presidential Orders have made most Union laws applicable to the State. In fact today the autonomy enjoyed by the State is a shadow of its former self, and there is virtually no institution of the Republic of India that does not include J&K within its scope and jurisdiction. The only substantial differences from many other States relate to permanent residents and their rights; the non-applicability of Emergency provisions on the grounds of "internal disturbance" without the concurrence of the State; and the name and boundaries of the State, which cannot be altered without the consent of its legislature. Remember J&K is not unique; there are special provisions for several States which are listed in Article 371 and Articles 371-A to 371-I.
Fourth, can Article 370 be revoked unilaterally? Clause 3 of Article 370 is clear. The President may, by public notification, declare that this Article shall cease to be operative but only on the recommendation of the Constituent Assembly of the State. In other words, Article 370 can be revoked only if a new Constituent Assembly of Jammu and Kashmir is convened and is willing to recommend its revocation. Of course, Parliament has the power to amend the Constitution to change this provision. But this could be subject to a judicial review which may find that this clause is a basic feature of the relationship between the State and the Centre and cannot, therefore, be amended.
Almost whole population of world believes in God. Everyone has given names to God according to their own religion. Some call him Allah, some call him Jesus, some call him Krishna and some call him Guru Nanak Dev. But for God we all are equal, we all are his children. He has plans for all and gives everyone the best they deserve. God is omniscient i.e. he is everywhere. God has everything managed related to his creation i.e. the nature and mankind. Every religion has its holy book like Quran, Bhagavad Gita, Holy Bible, etc. These books have the words of God written in them, which is just for humanity. God has given his words to the priests, so as to make them convey everything to the human race. The Truth of God Ministry has been revealed as a fourfold purpose of leading a church.
The first objective or purpose is the preaching of gospel to the humans so as to make them get more close to the God. This also aims at spreading as much knowledge as possible to the human beings about the ideas as well as beliefs of God. This also aims to make people to accept Christianity with whole heart and have faith in God. The second objective states how human beings should worship God.
Worshipping God means to communicate with God with the help of peace of heart & total dedication towards God. This method is used by people all around the world & they perform rituals with total faith. There are large numbers of ways of worshipping God, depends upon every religion's beliefs. People have their own beliefs, some worship so as to achieve inner peace and some to stay close to God always as his children. People may read sacred books, sings sacred songs or pray in heart, according to their beliefs of praying.
The third objective states that a group of Saints should be formed which should perfectly depict the image of God himself. These Saints should live life in such a way that they actually represent the way God would have lived on the earth. These Saints are to spread word of God to human beings so that the humans can come actually close to God. These Saints are really having the most important responsibility as they have to take care of endless number of things. These Saints are the holy people who are on earth for a purpose i.e. for welfare of mankind. The Truth of God Ministry has been revealed as a fourfold purpose of leading a church.
The Fourth and the last purpose, is to meet the human needs with the help of ministries of love and compassion. This aims at introducing the people who are lost mentally, to Jesus Christ. This also aims to dedicate all the Glory or praises achieved by the ministry for its kind works. This also aims to make sure that everyone stays good internally and spread love, peace all around the world. Thus, all these truths reveal and motivate everyone to have faith in God. Thus, one should follow these so as to stay happy in their life.
EFCC or Economic and Financial Crimes Commission is currently prosecuting past National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party Olisa Metuh. Now, Metuh Efcc has been the buzz word all over the internet. Metuh's defence counsel Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu told to EFCC willingness of his client to return N400m that was allegedly received in November, 2014 from office of the National Security Adviser. In fact, prosecution alleged that there was a collection of $1.2bn funds diverted from the former NSA office. This amount was mentioned as for the purpose of buying arms and for some other needs. Eventually, this money was used to launder bad image of former president Goodluck Jonathan in the presidential elections in the year 2015, but he was lost in the elections.
Meanwhile, there was another story in this context as Dasuki Gates, where Mr. Nicholas Ashinze former assistant to the Sambo Dasuki who is ex NSA adviser sued the EFCC for his illegal detaining for N500m compensation. Nicholas Ashinze arrested by EFCC on December 23rd, 2015 claiming an involvement in the siphoning of $2.1bn arms fund. Ashinze is in the custody of EFCC since the arrest took place and yet to be charged in the court. There is a lot legal action taking place throughout the story since its beginning. Though, the clarity and serenity yet to be established by the EFCC and is laid its evidence through 8 witnesses.
At this kind of scenario, every Nigerian is now confirmedly feeling that their nation is currently strained badly through corruption as well as bad leaders. The present day top three Nigeria corruption cases those are not yet concluded legally are significant proof in this context and those three cases are Colonel Sambo Dasuki, Senator Stella Oduah and Olisa Meth. Also, it is imperative here once again to remember some of past unresolved corruption cases too those are Farouk Lawan, Alex Badeh, High Chief Tempolo and Patrick Akpobolokemi. This is how every Nigerian feeling worried and bad about the present day corruption and bad leaders in their society.
Metuh Efcc or the trending Dasuki gates incidents are significantly warning the public of the Nigerai to be attentive about things happening in their nation. Legal system is definitely doing its best in bringing the facts to our knowledge. But, it is now the duty of the public of Nigeria to safeguard their country through not trusting the bad leaders. As long as bad leaders given priority in the election, the corruption will be on its rise forever. Identify the right leaders among you in a way the nation can be a best place for the public.
Former Prime Minister Sir John Major appeared on the Andrew Marr show yesterday attacking the Vote Leave campaign headed by Gove and Johnson. He suggested that he was 'angry about the way the British people are being misled', accusing Vote Leave for distributing 'inaccurate information.' Major summarised his personal views of the Vote Leave campaign by labelling their campaign as 'squalid' and 'deceitful.'
"They are feeding out to the British people a whole galaxy of inaccurate and frankly untrue information.
"And what they have not done is tell us what would be the position if we were to vote to leave," he told Andrew Marr.
Nonetheless, his comments have only riled the Vote Leave campaign. Matthew Elliott, director of the Vote Leave campaign, suggested that Major's comments were 'sad' and 'slightly mad.'
Despite this, what right does Major have to attack the Vote Leave campaign as 'deceitful'? This is the same man who lied to the British people during his brief stint as chancellor, and throughout the early days of his gloomy premiership, about the benefits of joining the European Rate Mechanism (ERM). The ERM was part of the European Monetary System designed to reduce exchange rate variability and achieve money stability in Europe. His then chancellor, Norman Lamont (now a Leave campaigner), was forced to rapidly pull out of the ERM and devalue Sterling. Interest rates hit 15%. The events of Black Wednesday unfolded. And Major broke his promise that taxes would not increase, yet VAT reached 17.5%, and VAT remained at that level until 2008. It is rather concerning for the In campaign that such a man is now promoting the benefits of staying in the European Union (EU) when this is the same man who witnessed for himself the dawning consequences of European integration and suffered at the hands of the British electorate in 1997 for misleading the British people in such a shameful and dishonest way. Ironically, this is what he accuses the Vote Leave campaign of now.
The events of Black Wednesday should be a reminder to us all about what happens when Britain abandons the gravy train of European integration. By 1997, Britain's economy was booming again because we were free from the shackles of the ERM. Unemployment was at its lowest levels ever when New Labour came to power. European integration failed then, and it is failing now. Why should we be lectured to by such a man again?
Also, this is the same man who lied to his own wife, Norma, about his affair with Edwina Currie for many years. Pity the latter never thought much of Major in years to come, tarnishing him as a poor prime minister in her own autobiography.
The Major government may have delivered years of prosperity during its final days which allowed New Labour to inherit a golden chalice from them, but let us not listen to the 'squalid' and 'deceitful' comments of Major again. He cost people their mortgages in the early 1990s due to his love affair with the EU. He never possessed the courage to deliver a referendum on the Maastricht Treaty in 1992. His comments should be taken with a huge pinch of salt.
Nigeria crossed a record earnings figure of N1.052trillion through the crude oil, petroleum products and gas exports. This record earning happened within just three months from January, 2016 to March, 2016. These figures were released officially by NBS (National Bureau of Statistics) for the 1st quarter of the year 2016. This report also indicated the 82.9% of these earnings happened through gas and crude oil exports from the total exports accounted as N1.27 trillion. Here, it is significant to realize that oil price rose around 3% that helped to recover the losses incurred in the previous sessions. At the outset of US prediction for the higher oil demand, it is indicating further more business for crude oil for Nigeria.
Nigeria devalued its Naira recently and it impacted in different forms over the major business entities in the nation. President Buhari at this point made a good move through meeting Nigeria's business leaders on the occasion of breaking Ramadan fast. This is definitely a best move from the President Muhammadu Buhari and reports indicating that a great assurance has been given to all the business leaders of the nation on the Naira devaluation. Here, improved business on crude oil, petroleum products and gas is significant economic success for the nation. It is imperative now to keep up the similar pacing with the growing business.
Boko Haram terrorist group is currently causing major havoc for the Nigeria government and this is directly or indirectly disrupting the oil and gas business in many ways too. Luckily, Nigerian Military started getting upper hand over this terrorist group recently through rescuing more than 5000 captives from them. So many clearance operations are under way from the military in this regard and killing so many terrorists in this process too. If this is continued, then the terrorist activities will be under control in a way disruption for the oil and gas business can be eradicated totally too.
Oil price is increasing constantly for the recent days and this is definitely a great positive sign for the Nigeria economy. Here, Buhari as a president of the nation taking utmost care in way economic reforms can be appreciated by everyone in the country too. Also, military is slowly keeping the Boko Haram terrorist group under control too and this is another good help for the business of the crude oil and gas in the nation. The US is already confirmed that their oil production is below to their requirement for this year and upcoming year of 2017.
Truth Ministry is mainly Christian ministry which was formed to give spiritual benefits to those people who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord. It has some targets like strengthening the faith of people in God and to increase peace and confidence at an individual level. This ministry basically teaches that how a life if synchronized with God will prepare him to stand in front of God.
Truth ministries are basically teaching ministries that use Apologetics that helps believers to share their belief and faith and thus would provide evidence to those people who are truly seeking god. In this ministry of truth, people from different denominations can participate and thus they share their faith and opinion in national conferences which are held across the country. They believe that the God exists in three persons externally- the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They believe that the God has created all of us, he upholds all of us and he only governs everybody in this world. They believe that through this Holy Spirit one can experience liberation from sin, Satan and the world. They have a view that the Church is the living and spiritual body of Christ where Jesus Christ is the head of everyone and all the people are the member of the Church. They believe that God regenerates all those people who repent of their and confess their sins to Jesus Christ.
He declares them righteous and forgives them and thus adopts them as his children. But no one can come to the Father except through Jesus. A Biblical Museum was set up in the Southern Region of US and that museum has been used to organize several major events. This Truth ministries is also famous for Eschatology which is the study of End Time Scriptures. They try to bring a deep and thorough understanding of what is happening around the world. So by teaching Apologetics and Eschatology, the ministry tries to capture the beginning and end of Creation to Revelation.
The truth of god ministry sponsors many annual gatherings like that include singing, dancing, discussions etc. several events are organized throughout the year. For example, Refreshing Water Renewals is an event which is organized in the month of August. It is a three-day event where people from different locations come and the theme is something related to the nature and its beauty. An event named Table in the Wilderness is organized during weekends in the April and the main focus of this event is to deliver a particular theme of Bible.
There is a website called Word of truth ministry which has more than 16,000 pages which are devoted to strengthen the Christian community throughout the world. The entire community of Christian across the world is referred to by a term known as "Body of Christ". This site has numerous articles on subjects of Christianity and also this site has a large number of people who have requested for daily devotional email titled "thought for the day" which are sent to them without charging any cost.
As I watched the second plane strike the tower on 9/11 I thought I must be watching part of a really bad movie. So horrific was the scene, I simply could not image it to be real. In the days that followed, I was even more shocked and nauseated when Bush gathered up our nation and sent it to war; first in Afghanistan and then Iraq. All these years later, I will never forget the friends and contacts I lost in the Twin Towers, nor will I forget the tears and grief of my Muslim co-workers and friends. I tried not to think about what was coming – the nation and world we are in today where Muslims are on the verge of being hunted into extinction because of the acts of a few depraved lunatics that don't even know what Islam is all about.
Pressed back in the shadowy pages of my memories, there is one more – just a vague memory that Bernie Sanders was one of the few that had the guts to stand up and say Bush was wrong. Bernie was also one of the few that had the guts to vote against the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. What is not so vague is the memory of Hillary Clinton undercutting all that we as liberals hold dear when she sided Bush and cut the feet out from Democrats that knew invading Afghanistan was not the answer. After all, wasn't it her own husband just a few years before that said trying to oust the Taliban in Afghanistan would yield nothing more than a few dead camels in exchange for an enormous tax bill and thousands of lives lost? How could Hillary take the side of an irrational war hawk such as Bush when she knew full well that she was signing the death warrant for millions of innocent people and setting our species on a sure path to destruction? How could one of our own, a leader of our Democratic Party help sow the seeds of more violence and create a ripe terrain for the likes of Daesh to take root?
Now that Hillary is running for office, she claims that in the heat of the moment after 9/11, she made a mistake. That innocent little blue eyed "mistake" is one of the key foundations of Daesh and every single horror we face economically, and in our position on the world scene. When you go on Facebook or elsewhere online and see how others in the world view US citizens as stupid, idiot warlings, ignorant, and childish, remember that they all point back to the invasions of Afghanistan and what it cost to our world. Remember that Hillary had the name and popularity back then to arouse the Congress and Senate to vote against Bush, and instead, she loosed Pandora's Box.
When you hear about "cool under pressure" and "experience" to do what is right in a situation, remember Bernie didn't make that "mistake" of voting with Bush. He maintained his composure, his decency, his logic, and his rationalism under severe pressure. If that isn't a presidential candidate that can defeat Daesh, I don't know what is. Time and again, Bernie has stood for equality, honesty, passion, justice, and pragmatic answers to vexing problems. He is our best choice, and our only choice when it comes to defeating terrorism because he can stare the darkest elements of humanity in the face and not be entranced by the hateful demons lurking just below the surface. Feel the Bern today – and make it your business to vote for Bernie Sanders in the Democratic primaries.
Late in the 1970s, Congressman Charles Rangel had been a newcomer in the electoral arena of the boroughs of New York State. Even though he was young, but he had the capability to wrest the Congressional seat of the 13th district in NY State from the sitting Congressman Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Now, over 4 decades have passed and the upcoming primary in June 2016 will see the son of the famous civil rights leader Adam Clayton Powell Jr. fighting again for the democrat seat from this district, thereby again adding fiery competition to the list of aspirants for the primary.
• Actively involved in the state politics from very young age
Even though Powell entered into the New York political arena from a young age, he had the guts and the tactics to go up against Congressman Charlie Rangel in 2010 for the seat and had managed to remain as an assemblyman till 2010. Besides, during his senate tenure of New York State, he brought about a number of legislations for the benefit of people in Harlem, Fordham and other regions of Bronx, Manhattan and the New York City. In the last couple of decades, Adam Clayton Powell 4th has been in the electoral field and is not new to the tactics. With his Puerto Rican background and growing years in Harlem, he is considered as a local and a good leader. Holding various government posts at high levels in these years, he also has strong control over his knowledge about the functioning of the local councils, state senate and the Congress. Hence, it was natural that he came into the national political arena, especially when the tough adversary Congressman Charles Rangel has announced that he will be not contesting the upcoming primaries but has thrown his weight around for Keith Wright as the democrat Party candidate.
• Gradual transition into politics and local administration after father's retirement
In the past, Adam Clayton Powell Jr. had a good clout in the local area, where he served the people in different electoral posts. After his retirement from active politics, his fourth son, Adam Clayton Powell 4th, went on to become a leader like his father and remained in the public's eye for many years. Now, in 2016, he has again jumped into the fray for the primaries, which would be important from various perspectives. It is to be seen as to how he performs against some of the political heavyweights from the 13th Congressional District, such as Clyde Williams, Suzan Johnson Cook, Assembly man Robert Rodriguez, Keith Wright and Mike Gallagher, the last being a new entrant into the field.
• Tough contest from other political heavyweights
It will be a tough contest because of the sheer large number of candidates vying for the Democratic Party ticket in the primaries. But, even though his chances are somewhat good, Adam Clayton Powell 4th has tough competition from congressman Charlie Rangel backed Keith Wright and Clyde Williams. He needs to be in the forefront of the political field, with strong versions of his work towards the people and the power to act on his commitments.

His name was credited with winning elections by record margin.
(Here we have used a few Hindi Words to reflect the writer's exact expression)
I have never been more disappointed and angry at the Republican Party (except maybe 2012 when I left the party in response to Obama beating Romney, only to come back to attempt to vote for Cruz and have an absetee ballet for the NY primaries mailed to me, only to have that fail). Republicans are some of the most gutless people. And their party is a joke. How is it that a party with a lot of candidates in the primaries suddenly winds down to only Donald Trump being in the race? Trump is NOT a Conservative. And neither is the racist altright, which forms much of his base.
Trump supporters cheer him for standing up to political correctness. But he is gutless like the Republican establishment that he and his supporters attacked. A perfect example is his refusal to denounce David Duke and the KKK. First he pretended not to know who David Duke is. Then he pretended that there was a technical difficulty with his ear piece during the interview.
Trump stands for no principles. He stands for nothing of substance. Trump has supported even partial birth abortion, where most of the baby (that is excluding the head) was murdered in cold blood. Pro-abort barbarians told themselves that as long as a little bit of the baby is still in the birth canal, it's still a clump of cells and, therefore, it's ok to do whatever they want with him/her. Trump supported that. And he supports Planned Parenthood, the organization that still carried out this barbaric practice (even when it was illegal) and sold baby parts. While he said that he'll punish women for having abortions, he still wants to fund this organization.
Trump now claims to stand for the Bible. But what he promotes is antithetical to what religious/Social Conservatives stand for. In addition to Trump's personal sex life (which included cheating on his wife), he also has strip clubs in his casinos. What Trump does with his personal life is his buisness. But he certainly is not a social Conservative and not a Conservative by any sense of the world. What puzzles me is that Sarah Palin endorsed him.
Trump stands for higher taxes and bigger government. Back in 2012, he blamed Romney's defeat on him supposedly being too harsh toward illegal immigrants. Trump also hired illegal immigrants to build the Trump Tower. Now suddenly, he comes out harshly against illegal immigration. He is a flip flop who just says whatever his base wants to hear. He may be challenging political correctness, but he doesn't stand for any principle.
I am so disappointed and angry at Republicans. The Republican establishment, which initially felt threatened with his rise, is now trying to kiss up to him because he's the only candidate there. Trump resembles the Republican establishment way more than his Conservative opponents do. Like the Republican establishment, winning is the most important thing for Trump. I like a candidate who stands up to political correctness and doesn't try to please everyone. But I also want someone who says the truth and stands for principle, which is not something Trump stands for. As I said, if Trump thinks he can inflate his ego through being to the left of Bernie Sanders, he would be to the left of Bernie Sanders.
Now why am I disappointed in Conservatives? Conservatives stand for the right principles, but are so bad at getting their message out. An example of that was in 2012 when then- Republican Senator Todd Aiken stupidly said that, regarding the rape exception for abortion, that the woman's body has a way to shut it down if it's legitimate rape. In my book, the only legit argument against abortion (especially when it comes to the rape exception) is that the fetus is a human life (or even a potential life). If the fetus is not a human life, then, regardless of what you think of the morality of the procedure, the pro-choice movement would technically be right. The last thing Aiken said I agree with, which is that "I think there should be some punishment, but the punishment ought to be on the rapist and not attacking the child." That is the argument against the rape exception, not the stupid argument of legitimiate rape. While there is a lot of sciencific evidence showing that that the fetus is human life, the claim of the woman's body shutting down the pregnancy if it's "legitimate rape" is just junk "science." Todd Aiken played right into the Obama and the left and their claim of a "Republican War on women" (all the while Obama stands with real misogynist enemies of America in the Muslim World and stands against Israel, the only country in the region where women have equal rights and are treated like human beings). In other words, Conservatives failed in 2012 and again in 2016.
Conservatives seem to focus more on CPAC than on influencing the culture. Conservatives also have a tendancy to vote for the lesser of two evils (I was guilty of the same when I voted for Romney in 2012, thinking that voting for the third party would split the vote for Obama, yet Obama won anyway). The Conservative approach of voting for the lesser of two evils allowed the GOP establishment to take their vote for granted. The thinking was: Conservatives will vote for our candidate anyway, but let's choose a more "moderate" candidate to appeal to the "moderates" and the "independants."
Republicans have been told that they need to be more "moderate" or give up on the social issues. They get told that they need to be more "tolerant" of the gay agenda while religious people are facing persecution (like being forced to bake cakes for same-sex weddings or pastors being thrown in jail for not performing same-sex weddings). I disagree. Conservatives should not give up on any of their principles because that is what would make them gutless wusses. And it's these gutless wusses who people like Trump eat for breakfast.
While Democrats have moved left on social issues and pretty much any other issue out there, Republicans are getting told to just give up their principles in order to win. Now be ok with babies being cut up in the mother's womb for convenience because an election victory is more important. Be ok with gay marriage and the radical Homosexual agenda imposing its will on religious people because an election victory is more important. And go along with Bruce Jenner being a woman and girls being forced to see naked men in the bathroom who identify as women because the election victory is more important. This is what giving up on the social issues means. This is what Republicans being more "tolerant" looks like. When Republicans are told to be more "tolerant," they're essentially being told by Democrats to be more gutless so then leftists (and now Trumpians) can roll over them (I will say that on the gay marriage issue, I would support Government staying out of marriage and leaving it to the religious institutions and have the Goververnment issuing lisences if they want any of the "benefits" of marriages). Republicans don't need to be more tolerant of immorality. Conservatives have been too "tolerant." That's the problem. Conservatives should get control of the GOP and start throwing out anyone who is not Conservative enough. Then we won't have these gutless whimps in the GOP establishment nor would we have these dumb pieces of dog doo like Donald Trump. Social issues are just as important as economic ones. So yes, Conservatives should fight on both the social and fiscal issues.
If Conservatives can't even save the Republicans from gutless RINOs, Trump, and the alt-right, what makes them able to save this country? If they can't handle Trump, how can they handle Hillary Clinton? And so this is why I have never been more angry and disappointed at Republicans and even at Conservatives.
Globally, the price of oil has been consistently sliding since the past 2-3 years, raising concerns among the global investors. Among the many reasons for this reduction in oil price is the increase in the availability (supply) of oil, and this is making a lot of stakeholders nervous.
To compare the oil price in the last few years, price of U.S. crude CLc1 per barrel has fallen from by $1.32 and costs $38.07 now, whilethe Brent crude LCOc1 oil price has fallen by $1.2 and costing $39.07 now. Obviously, the investors aren't happy about this decline due to its several negative repercussions including loss of jobs for over 250,000 workers and bankruptcy of several global oil companies.
The fall in oil price also has an impact on the economy of countries whose major revenue is dependent on oil. Nigeria is one such country, and its President Muhammadu Buhari recently suggested to the government of South Sudanto not rely solely on oil revenues. President Buhari has urged them to find other sources of increasing the country's revenues, such as agriculture.
President Muhammadu Buhari was receiving the outgoing South Sudanese ambassador to Nigeria, Mr.Riak, when he made this statement. He commented on how heavily Nigeria had been depending on oil based income since the past several decades, due to which the decline in global oil prices has severely affected the country's economy. His advice was that instead of oil, South Sudan should grow its economy by means of agricultural development. Nigeria's oil-dependent economy has seen a decline in growth (from 6.3% in 2014 to only 2.7% in 2015), mainly due to the oil price drop across the globe. President Buhari was also critical of the Peoples Democratic Party, which had formed the previous government. He said PDP didn't save enough during their rule in spite of the fact that Nigeria was once earning as much as over $100 per barrel, due to which the country is now facing economic troubles.
Mr.Riak also spoke at this event and mentioned how fruitful his four-year long stint had been in this role. He also said that since his country was blessed with a lot of fertile land, it would be good if Nigerian companies were to investin South Sudan for agricultural ventures.
Nigeria is currently reeling under the Boko Haram terrorism and has suffered massively in the last few years- both socially and economically. And hence, President Buhari's efforts to develop powerful allies are understandable.
Almost any argument of the pro-choice/pro-abortion movement that justifies abortion is evil. Whether it be the argument of the fetus not being a person/not a human life, whether it be putting bodily autonomy before human life, or it comes from calling the baby in the womb a "burden," it's rooted in the same theme: dehumanization of the baby in the womb. But what does abortion and slavery both have in common? Both involved dehumanization and both were done and supported by Democrats.
The mentaility of the Democrat party seems to be that it's ok to sacrifice people and make them suffer for the "greater good." During the days of slavery, it was black African slaves who were "sacrificed." The economy of the south was dependant upon slavery. And so, in the mind of Democrats, the economy and the productivity of the south came before the individual rights of black people who were enslaved, many of whom were whipped, raped, and murdered by slave masters. And today, a common argument for abortion is the argument of bodily autonomy, which is essentially an argument coming from some of the worst aspects of selfishness because it says that somehow the woman's "bodily autonomy" [and her conveniance] comes before the helpless baby in the womb. So by that thinking, it becomes ok to put instruments in the mother's uturus to chop the poor baby into pieces or to give the mother a pill that'll poison the baby's heart of burn the baby alive. In the mentality of Democrats, for the convenience of the mother and for her bodily autonomy, it's even ok to kill the baby even when the baby is mostly out of the womb, as long as the head remains in so these left-wing Democrats can reassure themselves that it's just a bundle of cells (never mind that we're all a bundle of cells because we're all made out of cells to begin with). Anybody noticing a theme? During the time of slavery, Democrats justified the denial of basic human rights to black people on the grounds of the "greater good" being the economy and productivity of the south. And today, Democrats justify chopping up the baby in the womb on the grounds of the mother's convenience.
Another argument that reflects the evil of the pro-choice movement is the argument of the baby being a burden. Commonly, pro-"choicers"/pro-aborts say that the mother should not be "burdened" with a child. President Barack Obama [who came out against even a bill that would merely protect babies who were born including those who survived abortions back when he was an Illonis Senator] said that his daughters should not have to be "punished" with a baby. All throughout history, labelling people as burdens [or punishments] has led to some of the worst atrocities and genocides in history. Today, we see it as being used to justify the systematic extermination of babies in the womb [with Planned Parenthood profiting off the selling of their baby parts]. The history of the Democrats is tainted with using dehumanizing rhetoric. First, according to Democrats, the black slaves were not real people, but just property. Now, according to them, the baby in the womb is not a person, but is just property, which the mother can dispose of for even reasons of convenience.
Another common theme between Democrat support for slavery, Democrat support for Jim Crow, and Democrat support for abortion is that there is a lot of racism behind it. While Democrats call Republicans racist, Democrats are the ones with the racist history. The Republicans were founded as an abolitionist party. In other words, the Republicans wanted to abolish slavery while the Democrats wanted to keep slavery. When Republican Abraham Lincoln was elected as President, Democrats in the south split away from the Union and founded the Confederacy in order to preserve slavery. After Abraham Lincoln's victory in the Civil War and the Emancipation Proclamation Act of 1865, which freed the slaves, Democrats then proceeded to establish the KKK [Klu Klux Klan] to be the terrorist arm of the Democrat party. The KKK lynched African Americans and those who fought for their civil rights. During the Civil Rights era, Republicans fought for the civil rights of African Americans while Democrats opposed giving them civil rights. More Republicans than Democrats supported the 1965 Civil Rights act, which ended segregation and Jim Crow. During the time of slavery and Jim Crow, it was Democrats, not Republicans, who resorted to using white supremacy. They saw white people as racially superior to black people in order to justify holding black people as slaves or discriminating against them [now Democrats see white people as "evil" and "privalaged" when they're the ones with that legacy].
Now how does that tie with abortion? 78% of Planned Parenthood abortion clinics are in black and minority communities (its founder Margerat Sanger wanted to practice population control on African-Americans and those she believed were "unfit"). A disproportionate amount of abortions happen in black and minority communities. In fact, one argument for abortion is that it reduces crime, which is a racist argument. Democrats accuse Republicans of using code words, which is another exmaple of projection on their part because this is an example of left-wing Democrats using code words. Left-wing Democrats are happy to let crime run rampant in the inner cities and say that those who want to solve that problem are racist. Yet the left's solution is abortion. When leftists say that abortion reduces crime, they are specifically talking about abortions among minorities [blacks in particular] as the solution. Leftists typically will deny that and resort to typical gas lighting. But we know and they know what they mean. Democrats like to keep and control their voting blocks. And abortion is a means for that control [ a video by the anti-abortion group Live Action actually shows that Planned Parenthood is willing to accept donations that specifically target black babies for abortion].
I will concede that racism is not the only factor behind abortion. But it is an aspect that's hidden in there (whereas for slavery and Jim Crow, it was the main factor and more out in the open). Either or, abortion is an aspect of typical Democrat mentality of achieving what it sees as the greater good at the expense of others. Historically, it was slaves. Now it's the baby in the womb.
Since 2014, my life suddenly changed due to an illness. Later, I was diagnosed with an incurable disease which caused me to become disabled. I was a pro se litigant at District Court in Maryland with visible and invisible disability. I applied for ADA accommodations under the American Disability Act to ensure that I have access to court services and participate in my trial like an average person.
I request for a postponement because of scheduling conflict for surgery. Right after the surgery, I had a surgical procedure and I was informed by Maryland Courts that I could no longer postpone after the 2nd surgery. I really did not have any assistance to fill out the ADA/reasonable accommodations documents however I filed the necessary paper work for ADA accommodations. The District Court ADA Coordinator stamped my ADA accommodation request and I never heard from her again. During trail, the Judge refuse execute my ADA accommodations nor did the ADA Coordinator attend court to ensure I receive my ADA requests. I reminded the Judge about my ADA accommodations, he suddenly became very rude and refused my disability/ ADA accommodations which was granted to me by the Coordinator.
I filed an appealed to Maryland Circuit Court and the discriminatory treatment became worse. The security at the entrance door took my cane which I use it to balance to keep me from falling. They yelled at me because I walk too slow in line due to the medication I take; I couldn't comprehend why they was yelling at me so abusively. I brought this issue to the Court administrator and I was informed to file a complaint to the Sheriff office which is located in the basement of the court. The Sheriff department made me sit for almost two hours until my legs became numb while they ignored me. I also wanted to report to them that the Circuit Court entrance door disability button get stuck and the door is hard to open. Since they treated me as if I was invisible and that "Disabled Lives Don't Matter" especially a person of color, I left.
I contacted Maryland Disability Law Center, a non-profit organization who advocates for disabled person civil rights; the agency responded to me after 4 months and still refused to communicate with me, maybe because I am black disabled person. However, alone I proceeded to file for ADA accommodations in Circuit Court with the ADA Coordinator and she communicated with me more than the District Court ADA Coordinator; she approved my ADA accommodations. I postponed the first court date due to another surgery because my health was deteriorating. The accumulation of medication and chronic pain limited my mobility and the medication mentally impaired me. I had supportive documentation from the doctors informing the Circuit Court Judge that my condition disabling me from comprehending court procedures and my chronic impairments limits my mobility. The Judge acted bias and ignored the doctor's request for postponement. The Maryland State prosecutor requested to the Judge to dismiss the trail. The State prosecutor was more concern with my health and impairments than the Judge. The Judge read my medical information violating the HIPPA law which also covers a person in non-covered entities. While my health got worst during trail, the Judge told me I can leave the court and they would proceed with the trial without me. The trial was about a one ticket but I was treated like a criminal or murderer. I became so weak I laid outside the court room and the Judge refused to call for an ambulance; my friend came and assisted me to her car. This whole incident was tape recorded. I was informed to contact Maryland Judicial Committee but later I was warned that the Judge who discriminated against me in Circuit Court, his co-worker is on the Judicial Disability Board. Therefore, ethnics and conflict of interest is a great concern on Maryland Judiciary Board, all of the members are friends are co-workers.
The State of Maryland face obstacles biases against the disabled and black community. Especially, mass incarceration because of the increased number people of color in Maryland prison system. Maryland Judiciary should be held accountability because of the lack of court access to disabled person, ADA accommodation and discriminate against the disabled person. Maryland SB 853 Ethan Saylor Alliance bill enforced Maryland public entities to promote collaborative efforts that support community inclusion and sensitivity training to the disabled community, however that failed.
A Maryland disabled man, Ethan Saylor died in police custody. Maryland was the first State to create an executive order by the Former Governor O'Malley who created the Commission of Effective Community Inclusion of Individuals of Intellectual and Development Disabilities. They were in charge of developing public policy for the State. The Ethan Sayler Alliance was created to implement the Commission's recommendations for increased training for members of law enforcement and other public entities (Mighty newsletter). The Maryland State Assembly should include the Maryland Courts personnel to take this insensitive training to communicate with the disabled community. I contacted the democratic led Maryland State Assembly but they ignored my letters. They had legislated mass incarceration and it was led by former Governor O'Malley. Presently, Governor Larry Hogan who had advanced form of cancer stage 3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and in remission, thank God! But according to the "Disability Blue Book" he might be still considered disabled. You have to wonder if the Governor was treated or experience negative treatment like the average citizens by the State of Maryland public entities; cold, insensitive and discriminatory. MCCR Maryland Commission Civil Rights refuses to execute civil rights protection to individuals with disabilities however silent concerning to these abuses and then use disabled person impairments against them.
If States refuses to enforce these disability laws, who do the disabled persons supposed to go to? A lawyer? Most disabled person can't afford a lawyer due to limited funds? Therefore advocate in Courts as pro se litigants with Judges who are insensitive and bias. The State of Maryland has limited advocacy organization and some don't return or exchange communication. Have to wonder how many disabled persons abused by Maryland public entities who remain1 insensitive to disabled persons and refuses to comply with ADA regulations.

As the global oil price keeps declining, countries with oil-dependent economy have started to worry. This decline in the oil price is not just the harbinger of upcoming economic troubles for these countries, but also the oil corporations and investors. All this speculation and worry on the part of major oil players is understandable, and steps are being taken by them to get a control of the situation.
Between 2014 and now, the oil price of U.S. crude CLc1 has already decreased by about price saw a decline from $1.32 per barrel, while the price of Brent crude LCOc1 oil has gone down by about $1.2 per barrel. This decline has created trouble for not just oil employers but their employees as well, around a quarter million of whom have been laid off globally in the last 2 years. As the industry sentiments grow weary due to the falling oil price, efforts are been made by the various leading global oil companies along with other stakeholders to curb this issue. In a meeting organized last April, a lot of ideas were discussed regarding this matter, one of which included freezing of the oil production.
Nigeria is one of the countries affected quite a bit due to this situation. The country's current President, Mr.Muhammadu Buhari, believes the previous government has a big role in the country's flailing economy. According to him, since the previous governments focused solely on oil for growing the country's economy and did not support other avenues such as agriculture, Nigeria is currently reeling under the oil price issue. A part of this claim, if not all, does make sense because during just the last year, Nigeria has seen a slowdown in economic growth by around 4% which is a worrying number. Also, the previous government did not leverage the period when the country was earning over $100 per barrel in exports, and did not save enough during that booming period.
President Buhari has many words of caution for its neighbour South Sudan for avoiding the same fate as Nigeria. In a recent farewell ceremony organized for the outgoing South Sudanese ambassador in Abuja, President Buhari brought up this topic in his speech and shared a few words of wisdom. He suggested that South Sudan should learn from Nigeria's current economic trouble and try to avoid it by concentrating on economic avenues other that oil, such as agriculture. The ex-ambassador agreed with these sentiments saying that his country is indeed blessed with good land.
Nigeria's troubles don't end here. It is also facing terrorist insurgency by Boko Haram, which has heavily affected the country's socio-political scenario in addition to economy. Despite the help received from countries like the United States, the Buhari government has a lot of efforts to make before the problem of Boko Haram is eradicated.
Governance has been as old as the civilization itself. The human societies felt the need for leadership that could take decisions regarding the peace, progress and welfare of those who are represented. Humans also have an inherent tendency to organize behind an able leader and are always ready to select one whom they find suitable for the job. Earlier, in the primitive societies, the selection was rather crude and often the leader exhibited authoritarian styles of functioning. People accepted the orders; however, trends also developed when leaders acquired super powers and went on to inflict hardships like through excessive taxation, oppression, justice by decrees and such other forms that became undesirable.
Democratic processes were chosen to replace the oppressive and aggressive regimes and rules. Allegiance towards the king gave way to respect of rights of the individual citizen. The last two centuries saw development of bright democracies like UK, US and India among others. US will be going for congressional vote in November 2016. NY 13th congressional district contest is much talked of and electorate would find the successor of incumbent Democrat Charles Rangel by choosing from among Adriano Espaillat, Keith Wright and Susan Johnson Cook and others. There is brisk contest planned in the months to come as the long serving Charles has announced his retirement early in 2014 itself.
US – manifesting democratic maturity
Democratic processes in US have got much advanced and sophisticated and there are many reasons for the same. The US democracy is one of the oldest in the world and has come a long way through a continuous process of evolution. People have gradually learned to use their democratic rights, especially during the time of elections. They know how to organize their burning issues and make them the core points in the elections. Sorting of the topics of relevance is what is required and educated people of US are now benefiting actively through the democratic functions and traditions of their nation. The system of primaries introduced in the US elections has generated an additional buffer in the process and helps breed the resonances. People are allowed to know and choose their leader; rather than being forced to vote for the candidates that have been blatantly and unilaterally chosen by the political parties there.
In Indian democracy, we do not find this system; may be it would adopt the same as it attains maturity equivalent to US! The systems of primaries expose the preparedness of the candidates for the election and people/registered members of party get the chance to filter out the candidates that are not suitable. This time, NY 13th congressional district is attracting the attention of media and analysts because Charles Rangel who enjoyed the popular vote from the region is quitting his constituency and new batch of politicians including Adriano Espaillat, Keith Wright and Susan Johnson Cook are in the fray!
Seeking successorship
Rangel has been long time incumbent and when he announced his absence in 2016 election, the dynamism started to brew. New generation democrat candidates including Adriano Espaillat, Keith Wright, Susan Johnson Cook, Adam Clayton Powell, Mike Gallagher, Clyde Williams are all trying to encash the affinities their party enjoys in this congressional district!

The US Congress elections are due in November 2016 and people of the nation are gearing to make the authentic choice of the candidates who could take forward the process of socio economic development. In the past few months, candidates are coming up with their bids and engaging in open forums and public debates to establish their position among the electors who would be making the democratic judgment.
The issues in this election range from the local problems of people to the opinions of national and international importance. In metropolitan districts like NY 13 and others, there is brisk brewing of the issues and factors for the upcoming elections. My Congressman NY campaigns by the candidates like Mike Walrond, Suzan Johnson Cook, Adam Clayton Powell and others are going in full swing here. They are trying to clear their stand on the topics of relevance and thus improve their chances of winning. Here in this Congressional district, contest is keener because incumbent and democrat heavyweight Charles Rangel is not seeking re election. He has served as Congressman since 1970 and without losing the popular confidence ever. More of the democrats are in the fray therefore in NY 13th district. They all want to emerge as the worthy successor of Charles Rangel!
US Primaries – offering better selection of candidates
My Congressman NY forums would be leading to the US Primaries that are planned in June 2016. The US primaries are fine democratic traditions that allow for thorough testing of the candidates within the political party itself. In the NY 13th Congressional district for example, we have host of democrats lined up to become the successor of C Rangel! However, they would have to pass the test of the primaries when their competencies and suitability as the democrat candidate will be judged. Mike Walrond, Suzan Johnson Cook, Adam Clayton Powell, Mike Gallagher and many more are in the fray this time in the open competitive field that is left behind by the long time incumbent Rangel.
When race is such stiff, the primaries serve to make the distinction because open forum debates are arranged between the candidates. The system of primaries also thus signifies the evolution of the US democracy over a long period! Other newer democracies like India still lack such mechanisms & people are less aware of the real authentic issues. The politics often gets misleading for the general electorate in such nations. In US there is an evident maturity and the people are well guided to test their candidates in a comprehensive manner.
NY 13th Congressional district electorate more mature!
While some nations could be boasting of superior democratic cultures in house, it is significant to note that every democracy is destined to move forward and touch the new milestones. It is only the timeline that determines democratic maturity! My Congressman NY debates are rigorous and comprehensive and an evolved electorate is getting ready for its vote in November. Candidates like Mike Walrond, Adam Clayton Powell and Suzan Johnson Cook have to be really explanative in their appeal to convince the people in their constituency.
